Vibe was cool, restaurant is beautifully decorated. service was good and fast . Proteins were a bit over cooked. Ribs were a little tough, shrimp in the tacos were over cooked a bit too. Price would be good, if the proteins were cooked better. God bless. Romans 15:13

Camilla was our pleasant & prompt server today. She did an excellent job. The last time I was here I had terrible service so I am happy to have had a lovely experience this time. The Mole chicken enchilada has generous chunks of chicken with a thick rich mole sauce served with tomato Spanish rice & refried beans. The Coastal Sea bass is light and flaky served with mango salsa. The Garlic shrimp was tender with chunks of aromatic garlic & onion with roasted red potatoes. OMG Heaven! The Sea bass & shrimp are garnished beautifully with refreshing cucumbers and peppery radishes, served with the Mexican corn rice & refried beans. They have the most delicious refried beans in Bakersfield, you can taste the lard as it should be. A nice touch is a bottle of icy cold water is delivered to your table. They have a full bar as well with signature cocktails. The decor is lovely with a vertical garden vibe. There is a large patio dining area as well. Romantic Mexican music plays in the background. This is also a romantic date night restaurant.

This place is so cute! Probably one of the nices interior designs I've seen in a resteraunt in Bakersfield. I was highly impressed just walking in. Of course, you can also smell the amazing aroma of Mexican food so you know your at a good spot as soon as your in. My family and I came by for lunch on a Saturday around 2pm and surprisingly this place wasn't busy and we were seated within 5 minutes of checking in with the host. I must say the service here is phonemonal, all the waiters/servers were extremely helpful and so nice! They all made some great recommendations and we tried a few of them and loved them. I had the fajitas and for $25 bucks, THE PORTION WAS HUGE. Easily could feel 2-3 people, just an insane amount of meat and it was good! All of it was cooked well and had good flavor. The best part was the handmade tortillas served, just elevated the meal and gives you that real Mexico flavor profile. The rest of my family loved their meals. No complaints what so ever. Thank you El Puesto for the great hospitality and great food. We already can't wait to come back and eat here again. Came to El Puesto to meet up with a friend for dinner. My first time coming, there's a parking lot out front and inside was beautiful. Got there just after 6 on a Monday and it was pretty quite. Seated quickly and got the duritos while looking over the menu. I love duritos and have never seen them at a restaurant. We asked for a recommendation for our appetizer and the fundido did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken mole and Agua Fresca. The chicken mole was very flavorful and chicken was tender. The agua Fresca was good a little sweet but refreshing. My friend loves the cantaritos and orders them every time she comes. I had a bite of the enchiladas and they were tangy and delicious. I look forward to coming back and trying other items.
